​WELCOME TO KANNITHA ART SPACE

KANNITHA is an online gallery and magazine using online platforms to build bridges of access for the arts community. Being an inclusive space for those artists and arts lovers with travel difficulties due to disability, chronic illness, mental illness or living in isolation from the broader arts community.

KAS PROJECTS has expanded to include SLOWPOKE: Slow Power Collective, an artist collective invoking the power of SLOW.

In partnership with GLIMPSE Art Space with fellow SLOWPOKE member Melanie Hoult.

The opening of GOOSIE Homeschool, an online platform and resource for neurodivergent, autism/PDA students experiencing severe school refusal.

Holding by Melanie Hoult is an installation of ceramics and fabric, currently on view at Glimpse Art Space, Northcote. A still life or life stilled by time. Empty clay vessels crowded, some broken, on the floor against the wall, cornered. For Melanie Holding represents the emotional, psychological and physical aspects of containing. For myself the work brings the viewer into the realm of non passive spectators. Observers on the precipice of action triggered by the thoughtful, mediative act of viewing.
